Jean-Louis Monnier, Founder and President of JLM Consulting Security
Jean-Louis Monnier has over 25 years of experience in security and safety.
After spending eight years at Groupe ADP (Aéroports de Paris), including four years as Security Delegate for Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, he joined Air France’s Security Department as Head of International Affairs, where he was responsible for regulatory compliance and lobbying activities.
He later entered the world of High Jewelry, where he served as Director of Security for the international operations of major Place Vendôme High jewellery maisons, including Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, and Chaumet.
In this role, he defined and implemented security concepts to ensure the protection of these High Jewelry Maisons’ interests.
He conducted audits of more than one hundred sites worldwide to organize high jewelry commercial events, exhibitions, and art fairs.
Among these audits were several dozen museums, which he assessed and analyzed in detail.
In November 2025, he founded JLM Consulting Security to support museums and companies in strengthening their security, offering a range of services from audits and security concept development to staff training.
